First Circular

Program: Three days of oral presentations and poster sessions are scheduled. Each poster can be introduced with a five minutes oral presentation and use of three overhead graphics. A general INA Members meeting is also scheduled.

Publications: Abstracts will be published in the Journal of Nannoplankton Research. Publication of the conference proceedings is still to be decide, papers may either be included in a new Special Publication Series, established by INA starting in 2001, for all future INA conference proceedings, or in a journal of wide diffusion, that we are contacting.

Field trips: A half day pre-meeting field trip is scheduled to visit the Pliocene-Pleistocene fossiliferous Blue Clays along the Stirone River in the vicinity of Parma. A Two-day post-meeting field trip is scheduled to visit the Northern Apennine successions. A detailed program will be provided in the second circular.

Accomodation: We will organize accommodations for all attendees close to the Conference location in one or two hotels. To ensure availability in hotels, we kindly request that pre-registration forms be completed in advance.
